Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer
Black Dog Arms is a FFL dealer based on Federal laws which indicate, in part, that any person engaged in the business of selling, gunsmithing or pawn brokering firearms must be licensed by Federal Agencies. As a Class 1 FFL Black Dog Arms can sell firearms at wholesale or retail value. 

State of Vermont certified Safe and Secured Storage facility
Under the Vermont Firearms Storage Program, Black Dog Arms may accept firearms for temporary storage either due to a court order, or for other reasons such as travel, the presence of young children, mental health concerns, and more. 

Firearm ordering, sales, and transfers
Black Dog Arms offers consumers options for purchasing and legally transferring a firearm from the in-stock selection or placing a special order to obtain the desired firearm. People who purchase a firearm from another dealer or private sale can have the firearm shipped to the store for the legal transfer of ownership. 

Appraisals
Black Dog Arms offers appraisal services to provide market value, auction value, estate evaluation, insurance, or other reasons the firearm owner may need. Appraisals include determining the condition and financial value of the firearm.

Cleaning
It is imperative for the successful and safe usage of a firearm that it is maintained properly. Clean firearms are one of the key components in the maintenance process. Black Dog Arms provides firearm owners with a firearms cleaning service.

Consignment
At times a firearm owner may need to sell one or more of their firearms. When the owner does not have a buyer available Black Dog Arms provides the option of placing the firearm in the shop for consignment or purchase.
